Viral Marketing Tools – Creating Media that Spreads Like Wildfire

There are thousands of viral marketing products and tools available on the internet. But, you may want to be careful which ones you select. You do not want your IP address to be tagged as one that sends out spam. This is how you can avoid that.

First, do you have a good product or service?  Will customers be satisfied and recommend your products or services to others?  If not, then viral marketing products will not work for you.

The dynamic operating behind this type of campaign is that when people have a great experience online, they “tell” up to twelve others about it.  That’s according to the Opinion Research Council.
Now, if the experience is a bad one, they will be even more inclinded to tell 12 people or more about it. Certain people will also go further and even publish online reviews. In most cases, when consumers have a unpleasant experience, they often want everyone else to know about it, misery loves company.

The main thing is that you want to ensure that most of your clients will be highly satisfied.  You can’t please all of the people all of the time, but you can do your best.
Think of the possibilities here, if you sell one product and that person tells 12 people, then that person tells another 12, you get the picture. That’s how the virus reproduces and spreads itself. It has been suggested that without a great product or service, you cannot create the viral effect no matter what the campaign.  That may be true, but viral marketing products are still useful.

Your goal may simply be to increase your contacts and make people aware of the services that you offer, without sending out hundreds or thousands of e-mails every day. That is an example of one of the services that some of the better businesses will provide.  They make keeping in contact with your current customers easier. They also encourage your clients to share this information with friends and associates. In doing so, they are able to collect more e-mail addresses, that’s what creates this virus.

It is far different from spam, because the only people that get these e-mails are those that have requested it or those whose friends have suggested it.   There are some free services on the web, but the value is questionable. If the email is never going to make it into a person’s inbox, only a spam folder, there is no point in sending it? If the service is free, it may just amount to a big waste of time, which in effect is a waste of money.

If you’re like most business owners, time is valuable, like they say, time is money.  There are some viral marketing products that are worth the money and save you time.
